I was never the healthiest person. I would eat whatever I wanted, whenever I wanted, and not think twice about it. In fact, I would often make bad decisions when it came to my diet and health in general. But then, when I turned 24 years old, something changed within me. It wasn’t a huge change or anything – just a slow realization that I needed to start taking care of myself if I ever wanted to be happy and healthy.
So, I started by making small changes to my diet. Instead of eating unhealthy processed foods all the time, I began to incorporate more whole foods into my diet. And instead of eating late at night, I started to eat smaller meals throughout the day. Slowly but surely, these changes added up and before long, I was living a much healthier lifestyle.
And that’s why now – several years later – I’m on a keto diet and doing yoga regularly. Both of these things have helped me take my health and well-being to the next level. Each day is an ongoing journey towards better health, but thanks to keto and yoga, I know that I’m headed in the right direction!

I was fat. 455 lbs to be exact. I never really cared for exercise, or anything that would make me tired. I was perfectly content lounging around on the couch, watching TV and eating junk food. It was a warm, sunny day as my coach and I walked through the park. We were discussing my bad habits and how to get rid of them. He told me about a technique called ‘subconscious training’. I was skeptical at first, but I decided to give it a try.
Every day, for the next four months, I would visualize myself winning a gold medal. I saw myself crossing the finish line and receiving the medal from the president of the Olympics committee. And not only did this help me get rid of my bad habits; it also helped me achieve my goal of competing in the Olympics.
